1. Definitions"MBP", "We", "Us", or "Our" refers to Merseyside Bowen Practice."Client", "You", or "Your" refers to any person accessing our website, making enquiries, booking appointments, or receiving treatments."Services" refers to all therapies, treatments, consultations, advice, information, and related services provided by MBP.
2. Use of Our Website and Services. You must be at least 18 years of age to book treatment appointments. Clients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and appropriate consent must be obtained. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking appointments or contacting us. You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes.
3. Appointment Booking, Deposits, Cancellations and Late Arrivals
Deposit Requirement, A non-refundable deposit of £15 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.
If you fail to attend your appointment without providing the required notice, your deposit will be forfeited and will not be refunded.
Late Arrivals, Clients are asked to arrive on time for their scheduled appointment. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we reserve the right to shorten, reschedule, or cancel your treatment if there is insufficient time to complete the service safely and effectively.
In such circumstances, your deposit may be retained, and a new deposit may be required to secure a future appointment.
Cancellations and Rescheduling, If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice by telephone to cancel or reschedule. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours' notice will be eligible for a full refund of the deposit or transfer of the deposit to a new appointment date.
Failure to provide at least 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment, will result in the loss of the deposit. In addition, we reserve the right to charge the full treatment fee at your next appointment.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, as these policies help us manage our appointment schedule fairly and efficiently for all clients. MBP reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where deemed appropriate for health, safety, professional, or ethical reasons.
4. Payments, Payment is due at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to amend treatment fees at any time. Any fee changes will not affect appointments already booked and confirmed. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Health Information, Clients are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date health information before treatment. MBP treatments are complementary therapies and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Clients should continue to follow the advice of their GP, consultant, or other healthcare professional.
6. Treatment Outcomes, While many clients experience positive results, no guarantee can be given regarding treatment outcomes. Results vary between individuals depending on personal circumstances, health conditions, and adherence to any advice provided.
7. Privacy and Data Protection We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. 8. Marketing Communications, Where you have provided consent, MBP may contact you by post, email, SMS/text message, telephone, or other communication methods regarding appointments, services, special offers, news, and promotions in line with your preference. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting MBP directly by phone, email, or in writing. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
9. Intellectual Property, All content on our website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and branding, remains the property of Merseyside Bowen Practice unless otherwise stated. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability, To the fullest extent permitted by law, MBP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our website or services.
