Canine Bowen Technique  (CBT)

The Canine Bowen Technique is a ‘light-touch’ therapy offering dogs a gentle, it is non-invasive an effective hands-on technique which aims to promote healing, pain-relief and body/energy rebalancing.

We have had dogs in our family for as long as I can remember, from being a child right up to the present day. Dogs are a large part of our lives and I have seen on many occasions where Bowen Therapy has helped our own pets. One of our Lab's aged 8 has arthritis and she loves the benefits she has from a Bowen treatment and will happy come to me to treat her. One of the major principles of  (CBT) Formerly (EGCBT)- is that is intended to be totally holistic, In other words, it “treats the body as a whole, without referral to named disease”.

Canine Bowen Technicians do not treat the veterinary-diagnosed disease or condition per se, but treat the dog, as they see it, on the day.

Important Notes

(CBT) is not a substitute for proper veterinary care, and should be used in conjunction with orthodox veterinary treatment. Please discuss with your vet if you have any concerns.

Please contact your technician for details

Canine Bowen Technicians do not diagnose (we respectfully leave that to the experts in the veterinary profession who have the proper training and qualifications to do so).

Under no circumstances will Canine Bowen Technician prescribe medication or alter any medication already prescribed for any dog.
